YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN GOLD

You need to know that You are a unique being, a special entity and not a nonentity, a solution and not a problem, you are too loaded to be pitied, you are too important to be neglected, a board meeting had to be held in heaven before you were created ("And God said let us make man in our own image and likness, let them (put your name there) have dominion), nobody has your kind of abilities, you are one in a million, you are too gifted to be broke, you are too intelligent to be unemployed, you are bigger than this, you are the solution that your country has been praying for, some people will die poor if not for your creation, you are special, you are too beautiful to be hidden, you are a light to your world, since no one can cover the brightness of the sun then they can't cover your light, gold cannot be compared to your worth, shine on and don't go dim. Listen, I just want you to know that you are worth more than gold.

A LETTER TO ABUBAKAR SHEKAU

Dear Mr. Shekau,

I have been so thrilled by your recent activities both in Nigeria and beyond. your vision has made you an instant celebrity, unlike some Nigerian celebrities that pay huge amount to be on the spotlight. Reading through your history and how you started, i became drawn to you because of your hunger to achieve your goals of eliminating peace from Nigeria and beyond. I have also heard that even our brave (agberos) soldiers are also scared of you and your men, i also heard that you have destroyed so many churches and even mosques in Nigeria and beyond. You drew the attention of the whole world when you kidnapped those chibok girls, you did not only attract global fame to yourself and your organization, you also gave some of our so called human right activists an opportunity to be popular all in the name of "bring back our girls" campaign. you have also given politicians a slogan for campaigning for presidency (I WILL ERADICATE BOKO HARAM WHEN I BECOME PRESIDENT) campaign, you have also given some Nigerian media
an opportunity to spread the bad news that they only know how to spread, you have also given the international community an opportunity to exploit our country the more in their campaign to help us fight boko haram, and you have also given some of our brothers and sisters in the north an excuse not to go to school because of boko haram's destruction of schools.
I am not a big fan of bad news or destruction, but i am writing this letter to you on behalf of my fellow country men and women that your blood thirsty organization have killed and butchered. I am a big fan of the popular adage that "One day monkey o go market, e no go return". the life of one Nigerian is sacred before God (whom you claim to serve). I want to advice you as a fellow Nigerian and as a good citizen and Christian who values every drop of blood of a Nigerian to stop the killings and bombings because you are creating more problems with your campaigning.
I also heard that you and your organization are being sponsored by a popular northern ex president with the backing of one of the world powers. but you should sit down and analyze what you are doing to your country all in the name of religion as a disguise.

I do not hate you, but i hate what you do to my country and brothers and sisters in Christ and in mosque. I know that you will be convicted in your heart after reading this letter.
Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedules (destroying lives and properties) to attend to this letter. i hope to hear from you soon.

YOUR FELLOW COUNTRY MAN

TO INDUSTRIALIZE OR TO ENTREPRENEURIALIZE

"Industrialization will help reduce unemployment but
definitely not poverty"

While listening to a discussion by some people at a
barbing salon, i heard them argue about the inability
of the government to build factories everywhere in the
Nigeria and also the inability of the government to
attract foreign companies into the country to build
factories that will lead to massive employment of the
people. Some of them claim that through factories, the
rate of unemployment among the youths in particular
will reduce thereby reducing the crime rate in the
country. As i was listening to their discussions and
suggestions, i began to think in my mind "is
industrialization really the key to poverty and
unemployment in Africa?" I have always had this
mentality that despite the fact that industrialization is
one great way of reducing unemployment,
entrepreneurship is the best way out of poverty.
Apart from the benefits of industrialization, i see
industrialization as a form of modern slavery. I see it
as an avenue which the so called "world powers" uses
to exploit the so called "underdeveloped or developing"
countries. Most of these foreign owned companies
makes use of the resources of these third world
countries to produce different products and end up
exporting these products to their own countries to
better the lives of their people. Industrialization is
more beneficial to able bodied men and women unlike
entrepreneurship where even a physically challenged
can become a successful entrepreneur.
Some years ago, my younger siblings decided to work
and earn money for themselves. They ended up
working in a factory where they would leave home by
7am and close from work by 7pm. As if that was not
enough, they stopped working before the end of the
month because the factory work was so tedious that
one of them got injured in his fingers that nearly
disfigured him.
In my point of view, industrialization will help reduce
unemployment but definitely not poverty. This doesn't
mean that entrepreneurs do not establish factories, it
simply means that entrepreneurs make more use of
their minds unlike industrialization that requires the
physical strength. Africans need to develop more of the
mind abilities and less on the physical strength. With
this, more millionaires and billionaires will be made
unlike industrialization where one man will own a
very large factory and employ thousands of workers
that might never be rich if they continue as employees.
